Balancing Act has made it 2 wins in 4 starts this preparation after saluting at Werribee on the 13th of February.

With Noel Callow back aboard, Balancing Act, or 'Flossy' as she's known around the stable, was sent out a $3.50 favourite in the field of 11 in the 0-58 Manor Lakes Handicap at Werribee over the short course of 1100m.

As usual Flossy began well from the gates and with her great early speed, sat herself in 2nd position just off the leader. Remaining there for the majority of the race, it was a matter of 'Smoking the Pipe' for Callow, just waiting and waiting before hit the detonator for the dash for home.

Rounding the bend, Callow urged Flossy to go after the leader, which she did with great ease, taking the lead into the home straight. With the field behind her under hard riding, the race was never in doubt, even with our girl getting a little tired over the concluding stages.

Callow posed for the camera as they crossed the line 1st, winning by a length on the line.

"It was great to see Balancing Act show that sustained speed again, like 3 starts prior at Bendigo" said Trainer Paul Banks.

"Moving forward it's a great sign that she can burn the candle at both ends".

The win brings Balancing Act's record to 2 Wins, 3 seconds and a 3rd from just 11 starts.

Congratulation to all connections and hopefully she can go on with it through the grades.
