Blink and you missed her!

Ebony Eyes puts a win on the board at just second start for Cloud 9.

Stable jock Nathan Stanley described it ‘as easy as they come’ after saluting the judge in fine style at Tatura. After finishing a close 3rd on debut for Cloud 9, Ebony Eyes made a winning improvement by taking out the Weeknights 0-58 Handicap in a stunning display over the last 400m.

Letting the leaders set the quick tempo up front, Ebony Eyes sat just of the main pack midfield and was let balance up by Nathan. When the runs started to come, Ebony Eyes was worst than midfield and starting to creep a little closer with every bound. Being set alight at the 450m mark, Ebony Eyes quickly rounded the field up around the outside and strode past them very quickly to put the race beyond doubt at the 200m mark.

Ebony Eyes went on to win it ‘as easy as they come’ being eased down to win by 2 and a quarter lengths at the healthy odds of $8.

It was a great start for new owners to the stable in Nick Theodossi and family. Nick is renowned for his Prestige Car business located on Arden St in North Melbourne. Congratulations to all and we hope this is the first of many winners for the team of Cloud 9 Thoroughbreds and the Theodossi family.

If you’re in the market for a new car, I’m sure just like Cloud 9, Nick and his team will put you onto a winner!
