Delicious! Crinklecut delivers at 2nd race start!

Speedy 3y/o Wanted Gelding Crinklecut made a successful return to the racetrack with a dominant win at Kilmore over the 1107m circuit on Tuesday the 11th of November.

After jumping well, stable apprentice Luke Londregan took a sit just off the leading contenders and saved valuable energy for most of the race. Approaching the 500m mark, Luke set him alight and started to circle the leaders before hitting the detonator at the top of the straight.

Crinklecut darted up the 4m rise in the home straight to win pulling away by a length and a half after racing a bit green throughout. In the post race interview Luke said that "he's got a few tricks that we know about from home, so I knew what to expect. But he's a horse that's going places and when he puts it all together he'll be much better".

Brent made eyebrows rise after his comment that summed it all up after Crinklecut's victory. "He's by Wanted so we knew he'd go pretty quick... so it looks like he might be a Chip of the old block..." Stick to Training Brent.

Congratulations to all involved in Crinklecut's 1st (of many) victories!
