Remagen Bridge wins on Kyneton Cup Day!

Remagen Bridge made a successful return to the Kyneton Race Track on Kyneton Cup Day after being placed to perfection and a brilliant ride by Brad Rawiller.

Lumped with 61kg by the Handicapper in the Benchmark 64 race, Remagen Bridge and Rawiller steadied out of the early speed battle and sat just behind the leaders for the duration of the race.

Conscious of the weight he was carrying, Brad elected to stay behind the leaders and save every inch of ground aroung the home turn before easing out around their heels right on straightening. It was then that Remagen put the pedal to the metal as the duo speared away for a well deserved win.

"It was a great ride by Brad, having the 61kg on his back and saving him for the one sprint home", Brent said. "He's been a bit unlucky this preparation with barriers and the like, but the drop in class certainly helped today and he was too good for them".

The punters in the world thought the same also with Remagen Bridge being smashed in betting from $14 in to $5. That's what happens when you race at your local track on Cup Day!

Congratulations to all involved.
